Resistance Inspection

1.Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)

2.Disconnect the EGR cooler bypass valve control solenoid valve connector.

3.Measure the resistance between the EGR cooler bypass valve control solenoid valve terminals.

11—13 ohms [20°C {68°F}]
• If not as specified, replace the EGR cooler bypass valve control solenoid valve. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)
