1.Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L5].)
2.Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [L5].)
3.Remove the plug hole plate. (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L5].)
4.Remove the air cleaner and the air hose as a single unit. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L5].)
5.Remove the upper radiator hose (engine side). (See RADIATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L5].)
6.Disconnect the EGR valve connector.
7.Remove in the order indicated in the table.

8.Install in the reverse order of removal.
