Warning

• When the engine is hot, it can badly burn. Turn off the engine and wait until it is cool before removing the ECT sensor.

1.Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.Remove the charge air cooler duct. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 Turbo].)

3.Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [L3 Turbo].)

4.Remove the battery and battery tray. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 Turbo].)

5.Remove the air cleaner and air hose. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 Turbo].)

6.Remove the air duct. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 Turbo].)

7.Disconnect the ECT sensor connector.

8.Remove the ECT sensor.

9.Install in the reverse order of removal.

10.Refill the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [L3 Turbo].)
