• Perform the following test only when directed.

Resistance Inspection

1.Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.Remove the supply pump. (See SUPPLY PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)

3.Measure the resistance between the fuel temperature sensor terminals using an ohmmeter.

• If not as specified, repair the supply pump. (See SUPPLY PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)
