Sensor Output Value Inspection
1.Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
2.Start the engine.
3.Monitor the following items using the PID/data monitor function. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [MZR-CD 2.2].)
4.Perform the diesel particulate filter manual regeneration. (See DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER REGENERATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)
5.Inspect the NOx sensor using the following procedure after the diesel particulate filter manual regeneration is finished:

Does the PID NOX_CON value increase as speed increases and decrease as speed decreases while repeating the following procedure three times?
• After racing the engine to 4,000 rpm slowly, decrease the idle speed to idle once.

The NOx sensor is normal.
Verify if there is any other malfunction.

|
Replace the NOx sensor.

Is any malfunction other than the NOx sensor verified?

Yes
|
Inspect for any other malfunction and after repairing, re-inspect.
