1.Disconnect the 4WD solenoid connector.

2.Measure resistance between 4WD solenoid connector terminals A and B.

• If the resistance is not within the specification, replace the coupling unit.
4WD solenoid resistance
1.5—2.0 ohms
(Rear differential oil temperature at 20°C {68°F})

3.Connect the 4WD solenoid connector.

4.Connect the negative battery cable.
