1.Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.Remove the following parts:

(1)Battery, battery tray (L.H.D.) (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 Turbo].)

(2)Engine cover

(3)Air cleaner (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 Turbo])

(4)Charge air cooler (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 Turbo].)

(5)Cowl panel (R.H.D.) (See COWL PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.Remove the nut as shown in the figure. (R.H.D.)

4.Remove the insulator. (R.H.D.)

5.Remove the clutch pedal. (See CLUTCH PEDAL INSPECTION/ADJUSTMENT [L3 Turbo].)

6.Remove in the order indicated in the table.

7.Plug the clutch pipe after removing it to avoid leakage.

8.Install in the reverse order of removal.
