1.Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 Turbo].)

2.Disconnect the back-up light switch connector.

3.Remove the under cover.

4.Remove the back-up light switch.

5.Install the back-up light switch (with a new gasket) to the transaxle case.

Tightening torque

28.2—52.2 N·m {2.88—5.32 kgf·m, 20.8—38.5 ft·lbf}}

6.Clamp both the neutral switch and back-up light switch wiring harnesses as shown in the figure.

7.Install the under cover.

8.Connect the back-up light switch connector.

9.Connect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 Turbo].)
