1.Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.Remove the center console.

3.Remove the dashboard completely. (See DASHBOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.Disconnect the selector lever component connector.

5.Inspect for continuity at the selector lever component.
