DETECTION CONDITION
• Configuration setting failure is detected.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
• Module configuration procedure was not completed properly.

VERIFY CONFIGURATION
• Has the EHPAS CM configuration been performed?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Perform configuration using the M-MDS.
(See ELECTRO HYDRAULIC POWER ASSIST STEERING (EHPAS) CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)

VERIFY THAT THE SAME DTC IS NOT PRESENT
• Clear the DTC from the memory. (See ELECTRO HYDRAULIC POWER ASSIST STEERING (EHPAS) ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS.)
• Is the same DTC present?
Yes
Repeat the inspection from Step 1.
If the malfunction recurs, replace the EHPAS CM.

No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE PRESENT
• Are any other DTCs output?
Yes
Go to the applicable DTC inspection.
(See ELECTRO HYDRAULIC POWER ASSIST STEERING (EHPAS) ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS.)
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
