Climate control unit (+5 V power supply) system

POSSIBLE CAUSE
• Open or short circuit in wiring harnesses between climate control unit and solar radiation sensor, air mix actuator, airflow mode actuator, or refrigerant pressure sensor.

Diagnostic Procedure

• Disconnect the climate control unit connector and the airflow mode actuator connector.
• Is there an open circuit in the wiring harness between climate control unit terminal 1J and airflow mode actuator terminal B?
Yes
Repair the wiring harness.
No
Go to the next step.

• Is there a short circuit to ground in the wiring harness between climate control unit terminal 1J and airflow mode actuator terminal B?
Yes
Repair the wiring harness.
No
Go to the next step.

• Is there a short circuit to ground in the wiring harness between climate control unit terminal 1J and air mix actuator terminal A?
Yes
Repair the wiring harness.
No
Go to the next step.

• Is there a short circuit to ground in the wiring harness between climate control unit terminal 1J and solar radiation sensor terminal A?
Yes
Repair the wiring harness.
No
Go to the next step.
5
• Is there a short circuit to ground in the wiring harness between climate control unit terminal 1J and refrigerant pressure sensor terminal A?
Yes
Repair the wiring harness.
No
The system is normal at present. (Clear the malfunction from the memory.)
