1.Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.Remove the transverse member. (See TRANSVERSE MEMBER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.Remove the bolt.

4.Remove the nut.

5.Remove the water heat silencer as shown by the figure.

6.Install in the reverse order of removal.
