DETECTION CONDITION
• No detected communication with the coil
POSSIBLE CAUSE
• The coil antenna is pulled out
• Open circuit in wiring harness between coil antenna and keyless control module
• Coil antenna malfunction
• Keyless control module malfunction
• Related wiring harnesses malfunction

VERIFY COIL ANTENNA CORRECTLY INSTALLED
• Verify the installation condition of the coil antenna.
• Is the coil antenna correctly installed? (Is the connector pulled out?)
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Install the coil antenna correctly, then go to the next step.
(See COIL ANTENNA REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

INSPECT COIL ANTENNA POWER SUPPLY
• Disconnect the coil antenna connector.
• Connect the negative battery cable.
• Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
• Measure the voltage at coil antenna connector terminal B.
― Is the voltage 8 V or more?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the wiring harness, then go to Step 8.

INSPECT WIRING HARNESS BETWEEN COIL ANTENNA AND GROUND
• Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
• Disconnect the negative battery cable.
• Measure the continuity of the wiring harness between coil antenna connector terminal C and ground.
• Is there continuity?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the wiring harness, then go to Step 8.

INSPECT COMMUNICATION CIRCUIT (INPUT) FOR CONTINUITY
• Disconnect the keyless control module connector
• Measure the continuity of the wiring harness between coil antenna connector terminal B and keyless control module connector terminal 3U.
• Is there continuity?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the wiring harness between the coil antenna and the keyless control module, then go to Step 8.

INSPECT COMMUNICATION CIRCUIT (OUTPUT) FOR CONTINUITY
• Measure the continuity of the wiring harness between coil antenna connector terminal A and keyless control module connector terminal 3V.
• Is there continuity?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the wiring harness between the coil antenna and the keyless control module, then go to Step 8.

INSPECT COIL ANTENNA INPUT SIGNAL CIRCUIT
• Connect the coil antenna connector.
• Connect the negative battery cable.
• Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
• Measure the voltage at coil antenna connector terminal B.
― Is the voltage 8 V or more?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Replacing the coil antenna.
(See COIL ANTENNA REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
Go to Step 8

INSPECT COMMUNICATION CIRCUIT (OUTPUT) FOR CONTINUITY
• Measure the continuity of the wiring harness between coil antenna connector terminal A and ground.
• Is there continuity?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
• Replacing the coil antenna. (See COIL ANTENNA REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
• Go to the next step
8
VERIFY AFTER REPAIR
• Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
• Disconnect the negative battery cable.
• Reconnect the disconnected connectors.
• Connect the negative battery cable.
• Clear DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND START SYSTEM)].)
• Verify DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND START SYSTEM)].)
• Are DTCs output again?
― Keyless control module: B1681
― PCM: P1260:00
Yes
• Replace the keyless control module and program the immobilizer system-related parts. (See KEYLESS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND START SYSTEM].) (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING [ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND START SYSTEM].)
• Go to the next step.
No
Go to the next step.
9
VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE PRESENT
• Verify if other DTCs are displayed.
• Are any other DTCs output?
Yes
Perform the corresponding DTC inspection.
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
