• ID number data in the instrument cluster and the PCM are different
POSSIBLE CAUSE
• Necessary procedures were not performed using the M-MDS after replacing the PCM.
• Instrument cluster malfunction
• PCM malfunction

VERIFY DTC
• Are either U0001:88 or U0073:00, or both, displayed, by either the instrument cluster or the PCM, or both?
Yes
Perform troubleshooting according to the corresponding DTC inspection.

EXAMINE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER AND PCM
• Perform procedures for when replacing the PCM only. (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING [KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM].)
• Using the registered key, turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
• Is the DTC displayed?
― Security light: 23
― M-MDS: B10A:62/P1260:00
Yes
• Replace the instrument cluster and perform the resetting procedure for the immobilizer system when replacing the instrument cluster. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.) (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING [KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM].)
• Go to the next step.
No
