• Instrument cluster detects the internal malfunction.

• Instrument cluster internal malfunction

CONFIRM INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DTC
• Clear the DTC from the instrument cluster using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER].)
• Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
• Perform the “DTC INSPECTION” using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER].)
• Is the same DTC present?
Yes
Replace the instrument cluster, then go to the next step.

No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE PRESENT
• Are any DTCs present?
Yes
Go to the applicable DTC inspection.

No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
