|
• BCM lost the steering angle initialization position.
|
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
• Steering wheel is operated suddenly during sleep control
• Steering angle sensor malfunction
• BCM malfunction

PERFORM STEERING ANGLE SENSOR INITIALIZATION
• Perform the steering angle sensor initialization procedure. (See
STEERING ANGLE SENSOR INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE.)
• TCS OFF light and DSC/TCS indicator light go out?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.

No
|
Inspect the steering angle sensor and related wiring harness.
• If there is a malfunction:

VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED
• Clear the DTC from the BCM using the M-MDS. (See
CLEARING DTC [BCM].)
• Perform the BCM DTC inspection using the M-MDS. (See
DTC INSPECTION [BCM].)
• Is the same DTC present?

Yes
|
Replace the BCM.
|

No
|
DTC troubleshooting completed.
