DETECTION CONDITION
• BCM data configuration error
POSSIBLE CAUSE
• BCM configuration has not been completed
• BCM malfunction

Diagnostic procedure

PERFORM BCM CONFIGURATION
• Perform the BCM configuration using the M-MDS. (See BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) CONFIGURATION.)
• Clear the DTC from the BCM using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [BCM].)
• Perform the BCM DTC inspection using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [BCM].)
• Is the same DTC present?
Yes
Perform the BCM configuration using the M-MDS again, then go to the next step.

No
DTC troubleshooting completed.

VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED
• Clear the DTC from the BCM using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [BCM].)
• Perform the BCM DTC inspection using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [BCM].)
• Is the same DTC present?
Yes
Replace the BCM.

No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
