INSPECT AUDIO PANEL
• Launch the switch inspection mode. (See
DIAGNOSTIC ASSIST FUNCTION [AUDIO].)
• Does the buzzer sound when a switch is pressed?

Yes
|
Go to Step 4.
|

No
|
Go to the next step.

INSPECT AUDIO PANEL AND AUDIO UNIT
• Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
• Disconnect the negative battery cable.
• Disassemble and reassemble the audio panel and audio unit. (See
AUDIO UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.) (See
AUDIO UNIT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY.)
• Reconnect the negative battery cable.
• Launch the switch inspection mode. (See
DIAGNOSTIC ASSIST FUNCTION [AUDIO].)
• Does the buzzer sound when a switch is pressed?

Yes

Go to Step 4.
|

No
|
Replace the audio panel, then go to the next step.
|

VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED
• Clear the DTC from the audio unit memory. (See
CLEARING DTC [AUDIO].)
• Perform the audio unit DTC inspection. (See
DTC INSPECTION [AUDIO].)
• Is the same DTC present?

Yes
|
Replace the audio unit, then go to the next step.
|

No
|
Go to the next step.
|

VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE RECORDED
• Are any DTCs present?
|
Yes
|
Go to the applicable DTC inspection.

DTC TABLE [AUDIO].)

No
|
DTC troubleshooting completed.
