1.Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.Pull the brake boot upward and detach clip A and tabs B,C.

3.Disconnect the seat warmer switch connectors. (vehicles with seat warmer system)

4.Remove the console panel. (See CONSOLE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.Remove the shift lever knob. (See SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [A26MX-R])

6.Pull the panel upward and detach clips A and B.

7.Disconnect the accessory socket connector.

8.Pull the panel forward and detach clips C and D.

9.Remove the covers.

10.Remove the fasteners and screws.

11.Remove the pins A.

12.Remove the console.

13.Install in the reverse order of removal.

ATX

8.Remove the pins A.

9.Remove the console.

10.Install in the reverse order of removal.
