Type A (rear spoiler non-integrated)

1.Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.Remove the liftgate upper trim. (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.Remove the rear spoiler. (See REAR SPOILER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.Remove in the order indicated in the table.

5.Install in the reverse order of removal.

Type B (rear spoiler integrated)

1.Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.Remove the liftgate upper trim. (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.Remove the rear spoiler. (See REAR SPOILER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.Remove the screw A.

5.Remove the cover.

6.Remove the screw B.

7.Remove the high-mount brake light.

8.Install in the reverse order of removal.
