1.Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.Remove the following parts:

(1)Brake boot (MTX) (See CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)Console panel (See CONSOLE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)Shift lever knob (MTX) (See SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [A26MX-R].)

(4)Console (See CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.Remove the auxiliary jack in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure while pressing the auxiliary jack tabs in the direction of the arrow (1).

4.Install in the reverse order of removal.
