1.Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more.

2.Remove the driver-side air bag module. (See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.Remove the steering wheel. (See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.Remove the screw.

5.Remove the wiring harness from the cover hook.

6.Remove the cover tabs and pins from the steering wheel.

7.Remove the cover.

8.Disconnect the connector.

9.Remove the screw.

10.Remove the steering switch pins from the steering wheel.

11.Remove the steering switch.

12.Install in the reverse order of removal.
