TRANSFER OIL COOLER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [A26MX-R]

1.  Disconnect the propeller shaft from the transfer side. (See PROPELLER SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [L3 Turbo].)

3.  Drain the transfer oil into a suitable container. (See TRANSFER OIL REPLACEMENT [A26MX-R].)

4.  Remove in the order indicated in the figure.

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

6.  Add engine coolant specified. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [L3 Turbo].)

7.  Add transfer oil specified. (See TRANSFER OIL REPLACEMENT [A26MX-R].)

8.  Perform the following procedure, if the transfer has been overhauled and installed to the vehicle.

(1)  After warming up the engine, drive the vehicle and inspect for oil leakage and abnormal noise.
