SPOT LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Vehicles With Intruder Sensor

Caution

•  The lens and intruder sensor cover cannot be reused because they are removed by breaking the connection part. Do not remove the lens and intruder sensor cover except when replacing the lens.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the A-pillar trim. (See A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the sunvisor. (See SUNVISOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the map light. (See MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Slightly bend back the headliner.

6.  Disconnect the connector.

7.  Remove the spot light.

8.  Remove the instruder sensor cover.

9.  Remove the instruder sensor bracket.

10.  Disconnect the instruder sensor connector.

11.  Remove the instruder sensor. (See INTRUDER SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [WITH INTRUDER SENSOR].)

12.  Remove the lens.

13.   Install in the reverse order of removal.

Vehicles Without Intruder Sensor

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the A-pillar trim. (See A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the sunvisor. (See SUNVISOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the map light. (See MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Slightly bend back the headliner.

6.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

7.   Install in the reverse order of removal.
