1.  Inspect the connections for any looseness.

•  If there is any malfunction, tighten or replace the applicable part. (See REAR DRIVE SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Inspect the dust boot for cracks and damage.

•  If there is any malfunction, replace the applicable part. (See REAR DRIVE SHAFT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY.)

3.  Move the spline area and joint area up/down and left/right and inspect for excessive play.

•  If there is any malfunction, replace the applicable part. (See REAR DRIVE SHAFT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY.)
