Front

Purpose

•  The front air mix actuator opens/closes the air mix door in the front A/C unit to adjust the temperature of the air blown from the air vent.

Function

Door open/close function

•  The door open/close function opens/closes the air mix door in the HOT or COLD direction based on the motor drive of the front air mix actuator.

Door position detection function

•  The door position detection function fluctuates the potentiometer voltage value which is linked to the front air mix actuator motor drive.

Structure/Construction

•  A potentiometer-type front air mix actuator has been adopted.

•  The driver-side front air mix actuator is located on the driver’s side of the front A/C unit.

•  The passenger-side front air mix actuator is located on the passenger’s side of the front A/C unit.

•  The operation range of the front air mix actuator is as indicated in the diagram.

•  The rear air mix actuator opens/closes the air mix door in the rear A/C unit to adjust the temperature of the air blown from the air vent.

Door position detection function

•  The door position detection function fluctuates the potentiometer voltage value which is linked to the rear air mix actuator motor drive.
