1.  Hold the shaded areas shown in the figure, move the liftgate upper trim in the order of arrows (1) and (2), and then detach the tabs and clips.

2.  Hold the shaded areas shown in the figure, move the liftgate upper trim in the order of arrow (1) and (2), and detach the clips.

3.  Hold the shaded areas shown in the figure, move the liftgate upper trim in the direction of the arrow and detach the clip and pin.

4.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
