Note

•  The integrity of the commander switch cannot be determined from a single part. When inspecting the commander switch, perform the following procedure.

1.  Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.

2.  Perform the DTC inspection for the connectivity master unit (CMU) and verify if any DTCs related to the commander switch is detected. (See DTC INSPECTION [CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT].)

•  If DTCs are detected, repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC INSPECTION [CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT].)

•  If DTCs are detected, inspect the commander switch using the diagnostic assist function of the connectivity master unit. (See DTC INSPECTION [CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT].)
