Installation Procedure

1.  Before installing the new part, drill holes for plug welding in 8 locations in area A, 1 location in area D, and 137 locations in area G.

2.  When installing the new part, measure the dimensions of each part following the body dimensions and align with the basic dimension.

3.  After temporarily installing the new part, make sure the related parts fit properly.

4.  Plug welds in the 8 locations in area A shown in the figure.

5.  Plug welds in the 2 locations in area B shown in the figure and install the side sill reinforcement (rear).

6.  Press the side sill reinforcement (front) in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure.

7.  Press up the side sill reinforcement (front) in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure.

8.  Plug welds in the 39 locations in area C shown in the figure.

9.  Plug welds in the 1 location in area D shown in the figure.

10.  Plug welds in the 3 locations in area E shown in the figure from the interior and install the side sill reinforcement (front).

11.  Cut and join the part to the 3 locations in area F shown in the figure.

12.  Plug welds in the 137 locations in area G shown in the figure and install the cab side frame outer (side sill outer).
