Installation Procedure

1.  Before installing the new part, drill holes for plug welding the 24 locations in area E shown in the figure.

2.  When installing the new part, measure the dimensions of each part following the body dimensions and align with the basic dimension.

3.  After temporarily installing the new part, make sure the related parts fit properly.

4.  Before installing a new trunk floor panel to the vehicle side, spot weld the 8 locations in area A shown in the figure and install the HU unit bracket (lower), and the spare tire reinforcement.

5.  Drill through-holes at the 5 locations in area B shown in the figure using a drill.

6.  Fillet weld in the area C shown in the figure.

Note

•  After filleting weld area C shown in the figure, apply body sealer to the joints of the trunk floor panel for rust protection.

7.  Cut and join the part to the 2 locations in area D shown in the figure.

8.  Plug welds in the 24 locations in area E shown in the figure.

9.  Plug welds in the 2 locations in area F shown in the figure.

10.  Plug welds in the 3 locations in area G shown in the figure from the underside of the vehicle and install the trunk floor panel.
