Installation Procedure

1.  Before installing the new part, drill holes for plug welding in 2 locations in area C, 3 locations in area D.

2.  When installing the new part, measure the dimensions of each part following the body dimensions and align with the basic dimension.

3.  After temporarily installing the new parts, make sure the related parts fit properly.

4.  Continuous arc welds in the 8 locations in area A shown in the figure from the front wheel housing and engine room.

Note

•  Secure the flange area using a hand vise so as not to open a gap in the welded area, and perform the welding work with the weld area clamped.

5.  Arc spot weld in the 1 location in area B shown in the figure.

6.  Plug welds in the 2 locations in area C shown in the figure.

7.  Plug welds in the 3 locations in area D shown in the figure.

8.  Plug welds in the 3 locations in area E shown in the figure and the bumper bracket component.
