Purpose/Function

•  The Smart Brake Support/Smart City Brake Support (SBS/SCBS) warning indication (amber) notifies the driver that the vehicle is under the following conditions.
―  Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) is malfunctioning
―  Smart Brake Support (SBS) is malfunctioning

Structure/Construction

•  The Smart Brake Support/Smart City Brake Support (SBS/SCBS) warning indication (amber) is displayed in the multi-information display.

Operation

Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) malfunction occurs
1.  The Forward Sensing Camera (FSC) sends (1) a Smart Brake Support/Smart City Brake Support (SBS/SCBS) warning indication (amber) request signal to the instrument cluster.
2.  When the instrument cluster receives the Smart Brake Support/Smart City Brake Support (SBS/SCBS) warning indication (amber) request signal, it displays (2) the Smart Brake Support/Smart City Brake Support (SBS/SCBS) warning indication (amber) in the multi-information display.

Smart Brake Support (SBS) malfunction occurs
1.  The radar sensor and Forward Sensing Camera (FSC) send (1) a Smart Brake Support/Smart City Brake Support (SBS/SCBS) warning indication (amber) request signal to the instrument cluster.
2.  When the instrument cluster receives the Smart Brake Support/Smart City Brake Support (SBS/SCBS) warning indication (amber) request signal, it displays (2) the Smart Brake Support/Smart City Brake Support (SBS/SCBS) warning indication (amber) in the multi-information display.
