FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  To prevent scratches or damage, protect the area (vehicle body side) shown in the figure using protective tape.

2.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3.  Remove the seal board upper. (See SEAL BOARD UPPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the fasteners.

5.  Pull the front over fender in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove the clips.

6.  Remove the bolt and fasteners.

7.  Remove the screws and fasteners.

8.  Partially peel back front under cover No.1 and remove the fasteners.

9.  Remove the seal board upper. (See SEAL BOARD UPPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

10.  Remove the screws and fasteners.

11.  Pull the rear end of the front bumper in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the front bumper from the front bumper slider while removing the tabs.

Caution
•  Carefully disconnect the front bumper from the front bumper slider. If the front bumper is disconnected from the front bumper slider with excessive force, the front bumper and the front bumper slider tabs may be damaged because the front bumper and the front bumper slider are engaged firmly.
•  When disconnecting the front bumper from the front bumper slider, support the front bumper so that it does not fall. Otherwise, it may fall off and be damaged.

12.  Pull the front bumper in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove the locator pins.

13.  Disconnect the connectors.

14.  Remove the wiring harness clips.

Caution
•  After removing the front bumper, secure the front over fender and mudguard with tape to prevent the front over fender from being damaged and to prevent injury.

15.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

16.  Perform the 360° view monitor system aiming. (With 360° view monitor system) (See 360°VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM AIMING.)
