THIRD-ROW SEAT BACK COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Caution

•  When performing the procedure with a third-row seat removed from the vehicle, perform the procedure on a clean cloth so as not to damage or soil the seat.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Third-row seat cushion (See THIRD-ROW SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION,)

(2)  Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Trunk side pocket (See TRUNK SIDE POCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect the connector.

4.  Remove the wiring harness clips.

5.  Move the tabs in the direction of the arrows shown in the figure and remove the cover.

6.  Remove the bolts.

7.  Remove the third-row seat back component.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
