Note

•  Double-sided adhesive tape has already been applied to a new rear sash molding.

1.  Remove any grease or dirt from the rear sash molding installation area of the rear door.

2.  Peel off the tape backing from the double-sided adhesive tape on the rear sash molding.

3.  After aligning the rear sash molding clip with the position of the rear sash molding installation hole, hook the tab to the vehicle body.

4.  Press the rear sash molding in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and install the clip to the body.

Caution

•  Do not apply force to the area other than the rubber area of the rear sash molding.

5.  Press fit the rear sash molding from the vehicle front and hook the tab.

Note

•  After installing the rear sash molding, verify that the tab is securely installed to the rear door.

6.  Install the rear door garnish. (See REAR DOOR GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

7.  Install the rear beltline molding. (See REAR BELTLINE MOLDING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
