Note

•  The integrity of the connectivity master unit (CMU) cannot be determined from a single part. When inspecting the connectivity master unit (CMU), perform the following procedure.

Type-A

1.  Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.

2.  Perform the DTC inspection for the connectivity master unit (CMU) and verify if any DTCs related to the connectivity master unit (CMU) is detected.

(Refer to the DTC INSPECTION [CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT (TYPE-A)] in the workshop manual)

•  If DTCs are detected, repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.

Type-B

1.  Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.

2.  Perform the DTC inspection for the connectivity master unit (CMU) and verify if any DTCs related to the connectivity master unit (CMU) is detected.

•  If DTCs are detected, repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
