REMOTE TUNER (RT) INSPECTION [TYPE-B]

Note

•  The integrity of the remote tuner (RT) cannot be determined from a single part. When inspecting the remote tuner (RT), perform the following procedure.

1.  Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.

2.  Perform the DTC inspection for the connectivity master unit (CMU) and verify if any DTCs related to the remote tuner (RT) are detected.

•  If DTCs are detected, repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
