Type A

•  An SST is not used with this type of quick release connector.

•  Consists of a retainer and O-ring.

•  The quick release connector is integrated with the evaporative hose and therefore cannot be disassembled.

•  The hose does not pull out because the retainer tabs become caught against the ring projection of the evaporative pipe.

•  When removing the evaporative hose, remove the retainer using a flathead screwdriver as shown in the figure.

Type B

•  An SST is not used with this type of the quick release connector.

•  Consists of retainer and O-ring.

•  The quick release connector is integrated with the evaporative hose and therefore cannot be disassembled.

•  The hose does not pull out because the retainer tabs become caught against the ring projection.

•  When removing the quick release connector, press the retainer tabs from both sides as shown in the figure and remove the connector.

Type C

•  An SST is used with this type of quick release connector.

•  Consists of retainer and O-ring.

•  The quick release connector is integrated with the evaporative hose and therefore cannot be disassembled.

•  The hose does not pull out because the retainer tabs become caught against the ring projection of the evaporative hose.
