Purpose

• i-stop control is inhibited/permitted by turning on/off the i-stop OFF switch.

Function

• Press the i-stop OFF switch for 0.5 s or more to turn on/off the i-stop OFF switch.

Construction

• The i-stop OFF switch is built into the cluster switch.

• An auto-return type switch has been adopted for the i-stop OFF switch.

• The instrument cluster determines that the i-stop OFF switch has been pressed by the resistance in the cluster switch.

Operation

1. The PCM receives (2) the i-stop OFF switch on/off signal from the instrument cluster by operating (1) the i-stop OFF switch.

2. The PCM switches the i-stop control between inhibit/permit based on the signal from each input part and CAN communication.
