•  The heated steering wheel control unit supplies voltage to the heating wires built into the heated steering wheel units.

•  The heated steering wheel control unit detects the temperature around the heated steering wheel units by the thermistors built into them.

•  The heated steering wheel control unit maintains a temperature of approx. 37 °C {99 °F} around the heated steering wheel units by intermittently suppling voltage to the heated steering wheel units according to the temperature detected by the thermistors.

•  The heated steering wheel control unit is located in the steering wheel.
