BODY PANELS

•  The following structures have been adopted to absorb impact efficiently in the event of a collision and to suppress cabin deformation.

•  A cross-shaped sectional front bumper reinforcement crush can and front side frames have been adopted which effectively absorb impact energy during a frontal collision and suppress cabin deformation.


DOORS AND LIFTGATE

•  A door beltline reinforcement and side impact bars have been adopted to prevent the doors from intruding into the cabin in a side collision.

GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS

•  A power window system has been adopted with which the door glass can be opened/closed electrically by operating the power window main switch or the power window sub switches.
•  A power outer mirror system has been adopted with which the outer mirrors can be operated remotely using the power outer mirror switch.
•  A rear window defogger has been adopted with which rear window glass fogging can be cleared by pressing the rear window defogger switch.
•  Heated outer mirrors have been adopted which are can remove fogging on the surface of the outer mirrors in conjunction with the rear window defogger. (With heated outer mirrors)

SEATS

Front seat
•  Seats with side air bag modules have been adopted to soften the impact to the chest, abdominal, and lumbar areas of the occupants during a collision.

•  A power seat system has been adopted to adjust the seat electrically. (With power seat system)
•  An occupancy sensor has been adopted to the seat on the passenger's side to determine the seating condition of the front passenger seat.
Second-row seat
•  6:4 split folding-type second-row seat has been adopted with which the luggage compartment can be adjusted according to the size or amount of the luggage.
•  The following parts have been adopted to the second-row seat to mediate injury to a child during a collision or emergency braking.

Third-row seat
•  A full fold-down function has been adopted to provide a flat space.

SECURITY AND LOCKS

•  A power door lock system has been adopted in which all doors are locked/unlocked using the door lock switch, or the door key cylinder is operated.
•  A liftgate opener system has been adopted in which the liftgate can be opened just by pressing the liftgate opener switch.
•  A keyless entry system has been adopted in which locking/locking is performed by operation of the remote transmitter button, even from a location away front the vehicle. (With keyless entry system)

•  A front body control module (FBCM) has been adopted for the vehicle front which controls systems such as the headlights, windshield wipers, and turn lights.
•  A rear body control module (RBCM) has been adopted for the vehicle rear which controls systems such as the power door lock, rear wiper, and interior light.
