Purpose

• Stores the record of the user's operation and the power liftgate system operation corresponding to the user's operation.

Functions

• The door lock system operation record is stored by the power liftgate control module and displayed using the Mazda Modular Diagnostic System (M-MDS).

• The power liftgate control module stores the following items when the liftgate lock actuator operates.

― Time and date

― Cause of power liftgate system to start operating

― Cause of power liftgate system to stop operating

― Power liftgate system conditions

― Vehicle conditions

Construction

• The power liftgate control module displays the following operation record on the Mazda Modular Diagnostic System (M-MDS) screen based on its stored record.

Operation

• The power liftgate control module sends operation signals to the liftgate lock actuator motor based on the power liftgate system operation signal and stores the operation record at the same time.
