Purpose

• Transmits the power window subswitch operation of the driver to the power window control module.

Function

Manual

• When the power window subswitch is operated for manual open/close operation, it sends a manual open/close signal to the power window control module.

Auto (With auto-open/close function for all windows)

• When the power window subswitch is operated for auto open/close operation, it sends an auto open/close signal to the power window control module.

Structure/Construction

• The power window subswitch is located on the front passenger's side and rear side.

Operation

With auto-open/close function for driver-side window

• When the power window subswitch is operated for close operation, the close-side contact point is on.

With auto-open/close function for all windows (Example: auto close operation)

1. When the power window subswitch is operated for an auto close operation, the contact points of the auto switch and the manual close switch turn on. (1)

2. When the power window control module detects an auto close signal, it flows (2) current to the close relay to turn on (3) the close relay.
