Operation


Operation conditions

•  When the following operation conditions are met, the front body control module (FBCM) activates the running light system.
―  Vehicle speed: 3 km/h {2 mph} or more (vehicle speed signal)
―  Ignition switched ON (engine on) (ignition switch position signal)
―  Parking brake: Released (parking brake switch signal)
―  Selector lever position: Except P position (selector lever position signal)
―  Light switch position: OFF, AUTO (auto light system not operated), or TNS (parking lights) (light switch signal)


Operation

1.  When the running light system operation conditions are met (1), the front body control module (FBCM) turns the DRL relay on (2). In addition, it turns the license plate lights and taillights on (2).

2.  When the DRL relay turns on, the running light is illuminated (3).

Note
•  When a turn light is operated while the running lights are turned on, running lights No.1 and 2 of the front combination light flash as the turn light, and running light No.3 is turned off.
