Purpose
• The LED headlight warning light notifies the driver the following conditions:

― Headlight auto leveling system non-initialization
― Headlight auto leveling system malfunction
― Adaptive LED headlights malfunction (With adaptive LED headlights)
― LED headlight malfunction
Function
• The instrument cluster turns on/flashes the LED headlight warning light based on the following signals:

Structure/Construction
• The LED headlight warning light is built into the instrument cluster.
Operation
1. When the auto leveling control module/adaptive LED headlights control module detects a malfunction with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on), it sends (1) a headlight auto leveling system non-initialization signal or headlight auto leveling system malfunction signal/adaptive LED headlights malfunction signal (with adaptive LED headlights)/LED headlight malfunction signal to the instrument cluster via CAN communication.
2. The instrument cluster turns the transistor on (2) intermittently for the headlight auto leveling system non-initialization signal and continuously for the auto leveling system malfunction signal/adaptive LED headlights malfunction signal (with adaptive LED headlights)/LED headlight malfunction signal.
3. When the transistor is turned on intermittently, the LED headlight warning light flashes (3), and when it is turned on continuously, the LED headlight warning light turns on (3).
