Purpose

• Console ambient light: Illuminates the area around the console.

• Power window switch ambient light: Illuminates the area around the power window switch.

Function

• The ambient lights turn on according to the lock condition of the driver's door and open/close conditions of the doors under the rear body control module (RBCM) control.

Structure/Construction

• The console ambient light is positioned in the front map light.

• The power window switch ambient light is positioned in the front door trim.

Operation

1. When all the operation conditions are met, the rear body control module (RBCM) turns the ambient light on (1).
