Purpose

• Relays used by each system are grouped and housed together to the relay box for smooth inspection and replacement servicing.

Function

• The relay box groups and houses together the relays.

Structure/Construction

• The relay box is located in the front bumper.

Operation

1. When electric current flows (1) to the coil, electromagnetic power is generated.

2. The contact point is attracted by the generated electromagnetic power and switches on (2).

3. When the contact point switches on, electric current flows (3) to each part downstream of the relay.
