Removal Procedure

Without sunroof

Caution

•  Remove the curtain air bag module to prevent damage before servicing.

1.  Drill the 109 locations indicated by (A) shown in the figure.

2.  Remove the roof panel.

3.  Drill the spot welded 24 locations indicated by (B) shown in the figure from the underside of the roof panel and remove the roof reinforcement No.1, roof reinforcement No.2, roof reinforcement No.3, roof reinforcement No.4 and roof reinforcement No.5.

Note

•  Be careful not to damage the roof reinforcement during installation as it will be reused.

Caution

1.  Drill the 109 locations indicated by (A) shown in the figure.

2.  Remove the roof panel.

3.  Drill the spot welded 12 locations indicated by (B) shown in the figure from the underside of the roof panel and remove the roof reinforcement No.3, roof reinforcement No.4 and roof reinforcement No.5.

•  Be careful not to damage the roof reinforcement during installation as it will be reused.
