•  The driver can optionally choose to switch the lane departure warning system (LDWS) to operational or non-operational.

•  The LDWS off switch sends a switch operation signal to the instrument cluster.

•  The indicator light turns on when the LDWS OFF switch is on.

•  The LDWS off switch is built into the cluster switch.

1.  When the LDWS off switch is operated, the LDWS off switch operation signal is sent (1) to the instrument cluster.

2.  Based on the switch operation signal (detected voltage value), the instrument cluster sends (2) the LDWS off switch operation signal to the forward sensing camera (FSC) via CAN communication.

3.  When the forward sensing camera (FSC) receives the LDWS off switch operation signal from the instrument cluster, it switches (3) the lane departure warning system (LDWS) to operational or non-operational.

4.  The instrument cluster turns on (4) the transistor when the LDWS OFF switch is on.

5.  When the transistor turns on, a ground circuit with the indicator light is established, and the indicator light turns on (5).
