•  The Bluetooth system allows for wireless radio communication between the mobile phone/portable audio and the vehicle’s Bluetooth unit. If a common profile is used, the mobile phone/portable audio can be used without a wire connection. In addition, Bluetooth-enabled devices can be operated using the vehicle’s audio panel. The functions vary depending on the corresponding profile.

•  The profile represents a radio communication standard. The Bluetooth unit cannot communicate with a Bluetooth-enabled device if the profile is different. Refer to its instruction manuals supplied with the Bluetooth-enabled device to confirm the profile.
